Cornerstone Church,
His Spiritual House
1 Peter 2:4-5 (NKJV) 4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
One of the challenges in our lives is to know, understand, and if we are being honest, to remember the “why” for the things we do each day.
In the passage above, Peter writes that we are being built up by God a spiritual house. Peter goes on though, to tell us the “why”. He says that we are chosen by God, brought together into His spiritual house, that we might offer up spiritual sacrifices to Him through Jesus Christ.
So, what does that mean to you and I? What does it mean to use who are called to be those “living stones” that are being built as part of His spiritual house?
It means that we praise Him in all of our circumstances. It means we love one another and do good for one another. It means that we serve one another in the body of Christ, desiring that we all would grow in our relationship with the Lord and with one another.
If you have experienced salvation by faith in Christ alone, you have been called to be a part of His spiritual house. This week live your life as a living sacrifice that you would glorify God and praise Him for all that He has done.

What's New?
Two Services!
Now that we are heading into the summer months, and our snowbirds are heading back north, we are going to transition back to our old service times. We will have 2 services. One at 9am, and the second at 11am. Both of these services will have full children’s programming.
As I’m sure many of you have noticed, the Four Corners area is continuing to grow, and that means our attendance is also. With that being said, we expect that we will need to revert back to three services by the end of the year, so be sure to stay tuned for that.
We also just wanted to say a quick thank you to our volunteers. We are grateful for all you do and we love serving alongside of you. As we make these adjustments, let’s continue to pray that God will use Cornerstone in this area, and that we will be faithful as we seek to serve Him.
