Revelation 2:18-29 (NKJV) 18 "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, 'These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.
Micro improvements day by day add up to monumental progress over time. The greatest thing that Jesus had to say about the church in Thyatira was that their last works were more than the first.
How about you?
Would Jesus say the same about your works? Do you walk with Him more than at first? Do you talk to Him more than at first? Do you love, serve, give, praise more than at first? If not, then why not? What is holding you back from progressing ahead in your spiritual life and growth. The Apostle Paul put it this way in Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV)
12 Not that I have already attained,[c] or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have [d]apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Let’s keep our eyes on the prize. Let’s press ahead for more!
